It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Have you ever just sat and taken a minute to look around you? We are surrounded by texture, color, and so much more.
Today’s find for me was in the toy box. A lego, a simple building block. I took that block and dipped it in ink to create a background.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Today is the day that we look past the catalog and figure things out. The catalog says that the Floral Essence stamp set coordinates with the Perennial Flower Punch. But what about the Leaf Punch?
Don’t always take our word for it. Make sure to look and see for yourself. Many times products will coordinate that aren’t listed. What have you found to work together that is not talked about?

It’s Sabbath Sunday! Today’s your day to break out of your routine. So what are your plans today? For me, I slept in a little and then will be going to Drum Corps International (DCI) this afternoon. I will be watching the professionals with their shows and their drums and…This translates to me getting some great kettle corn and a snow cone. My daughter and hubby (the musicians) will enjoy it and I will enjoy people watching and the snacks.
Do you more times than not have no idea what you want to do? Does the summer seem to slip away? Then have a bucket list. Brainstorm and have a few things you want to do. That way when you don’t have a clue you can pull from the bucket. Time will slip away regardless but it will feel hopeless if you don’t take advantage of it. Don’t let it pass you by.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward. Most of the time I am talking about what to do for others. But I want to remind you that if you don’t take care of yourself there won’t be the energy needed for others. Don’t go overboard but do make sure to not run yourself ragged.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today is the day we take an alternative look to embossing. For this project you will want to have multiple colors of embossing powders and/or papers. The silver foil paper, copper embossing powder, and clear embossing powder were used.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Did you ever notice the line on the newer embossing folders? This is so you can line up your card stock and make it straight. If you have older folders you might consider grabbing a sharpie and a ruler. This line has been so helpful to me.

It’s Technique Tuesday! As you know our supplier for the 3D Embossing Folders has changed. With that comes a slightly different thickness. So you can either figure out how many pieces of card stock to shim under or you can purchase the new embossing plate.
