It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on resting and recharging.
Since the kids have had a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday it seems that I should focus on the fact that this is the last day of no routine in my house. Tomorrow will be back to school and it will be off to the races once again. I have to say it’s been nice to be slower but it doesn’t last long in this house.
This week will hold two craft fairs, try-outs for winter drumline, Tuba Christmas, and probably a few other things I am missing.
So as I type this in my pajamas I realize that this is the last day for a bit of ease for quite some time. I am grateful to have the down time, but I am looking forward to what the future brings too.
It’s Management Monday! Here’s what’s happening this week.
I am closed today for the holiday. I am taking some time for family and to get ahead a bit. So no Open Time today.
If you would like to order on Betty’s class please contact me before Wednesday evening. This will be the first order from the Holiday Catalog. If you prefer to order online please use host code T979KUXH.
The first 12 crafters to order on Wednesday from me will get to pick their own Christmas tree. I will have 12 trees punched out that are all different colors. Each tree will have a different promotion or bonus on it. To qualify to pick your tree your order must be more than $50.
Save the date for Card Class on September 10, 12, or 14.
It’s Management Monday! Bonus Days have begun! For every $50 you purchase in product in July you will get a $5 coupon to be used in August. A 10% return on your purchase is better than most days on the stock market.
To shop online please use host code 27Q9DFNA to help Betty. This code will be good until Monday at 7:30 pm. If you prefer to order in person please contact me or drop by on Monday during Open Time (10:30-12:30 or 5:30-7:30).
Open Times are happening today at the Studio!
I will be closed for the 4th.
Just a reminder that my office hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am – 7 :30 pm. I am closed on Sunday. You can contact me at any time, but I will respond during these hours.
It’s Sabbath Sunday! Are you resting today or are you doing that on Monday with the holiday and all? I am driving out to see one of my desert kids show her horse with the 4H Club for the first time. And then it’s back home to rest until a dinner party for a special birthday. Do you have plans?
So my plan to rest will happen on Monday. I will not be open on Monday for studio time. But I will be back at it on Tuesday.
Don’t forget to reserve your seat at Carol’s Card Class on Thursday in Yucca Valley. The deadline is Tuesday and this is the very last $10 class I will be teaching. On June 1 classes go up to $15.
It’s Technique Tuesday! I figured instead of telling you about a new stamping technique I would tell you about a new thinking technique. Since the holidays are coming you might be stamping more multiples than just one or two cards. When creating a bunch of cards the thinking is a bit different. Instead of completing each card I tend to think in stages. I get all my ink done. Then all my coloring. Next comes all the punching. Gluing. And then packaging.
Each step I try to do in completion so all I have to think about is the same step over and over. I tend to create quicker when I don’t have to remember each step. If you need help thinking through a project to make it more efficient please contact me.
