Rest is different to everyone.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest and re-charge.

I am amazed at how many different ways there are to rest. Some need to have a fun activity to do, some nap, watch a movie…the possibilities are endless.

For today my rest will be at the shopping mall. This is not my version but when school starts and a few things are needed it is down the hill we go.

What are you doing today on this long weekend to re-charge?

P.S. Please remember that I am closed tomorrow for the holiday.

Sleep is a good thing.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! Today is the day to rest and re-charge. Usually I have some ideas on what to do to break out of your routine but not today. Some days you just have to rest. It’s the end of school, just finished Tara’s (my daughter) birthday, and still getting my new project organized. I don’t know about you but I am worn out.

So today is a good day to grab a movie and do some couch surfing. What is your favorite movie to watch between naps? Mine is Big Fat Greek Wedding. It reminds me of my Grama’s home.

Not much rest here.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! There’s not much rest here today since I took yesterday off. It’s the first Saturday I didn’t have a class or fair in as long as I can remember. So yesterday I went to dinner, ran some errands, and finished the night with a movie. It felt good. So today I have projects to finish, classes to prepare for, and much, much more.

What are you working on today or are you?

Taking a break.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! What do you do to take a break? I know many of you that teach are in the middle of grading and report cards. I know some of you are doing inventory and others are working on year end reports. So when everything is done how do you relax? How do you break up the routine?

For me it means going to a good dinner (not fancy but more comfort food). It means going in to the studio and just creating. Or it means having some fun at the mini golf place. And sometimes it means going to see a movie and escaping reality with a bucket of popcorn. I think today my daughter, Tara, has put in the request to see a movie. So it is off to the cinema we go.

Whatever you do I hope it is restful, peaceful, and rejuvenating.

Happy Crafting!

With inky fingers,

Joni 🙂
