If All Else Fails…Bleach It!!!

It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to bring back an oldie…bleaching. Our card stock with Stampin’ Up! is dyed all the way through so it makes it interesting when bleaching it. To do this project you will need: For this specific card I took Shaded Spruce Card Stock and stamped leaves on it to resembleContinue reading “If All Else Fails…Bleach It!!!”

What is your therapy?

It’s Sabbath Sunday! Today is the day to focus on resting and recharging for the week. So what do you do to recharge? What is your therapy? Do you like to be active, watch movies, sleep in, cook, clean…what sets you up for the week? For me it is cooking and stamping that set myContinue reading “What is your therapy?”

When erasers become stamps.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Did you know that those pencil erasers that are hard and crunchy are great? I have not lost my mind. When the top of the pencil no longer erases it becomes a perfect stamp. Since it is no longer softContinue reading “When erasers become stamps.”

Virtual stamping, bingo, and more.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! I never thought I would see the day where everything has turned virtual. I miss personal contact and hugs for now. So stamping has gone virtual with online classes, YouTube, and Facebook Lives. I am working on a virtual bingoContinue reading “Virtual stamping, bingo, and more.”

Stamping after sponging.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Just a reminder to stamp after sponging. If you want to sponge a background with either a sponge or the brayer then do that first. That way your stamping does not get smeared. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂

Rubber bands for stamping.

The more the merrier. Ink the bands and then stamp on to card stock. You never knowContinue reading “Rubber bands for stamping.”

Embellishments instead of errors.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Have you ever created a card or project and not known what to put to finish it? Did you already glue it together and wish you had stamped? Then use embellishments! In this case I had already glued the pocket on and knew that this needed something. I thought of stamping firstContinue reading “Embellishments instead of errors.”

Hobbies bring rest.

By the title I bet you think I will talk about stamping.  For many of you stamping is what brings you rest.  And I am sure at some point today I will stamp too.  But what other hobbies (or therapies) do you have?  I like to work out and also to cook.  So today IContinue reading “Hobbies bring rest.”

Tiled stamping.

This is probably the only time you will hear me say this.  Punch first and then stamp.  Yes, punch first.  Then lay your punches end to end and stamp as if it was one piece.  This will create a tiled look. Stay tuned on Thursday to see the finished card. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers,Continue reading “Tiled stamping.”

Stamps are not just for paper.

Do you use your stamps for more than just paper?  Did you know that they could be used for more than paper?  Basically any flat surface can be stamped.  I have been creative on cardstock, wood, fabric, glass, cork, metal, clay, paperclay, and even cookies.  If you stamp into food make sure to clean yourContinue reading “Stamps are not just for paper.”
