Sundays are a break in the routine.
While Sundays are usually restful in this house it is also a welcome break in the routine. Normally everyone is home and not working or going to school. It’s usually a day where dinner is not hurried and finally finished around 9 pm. So today, for me, it’s a quick trip to the grocery storeContinue reading “Sundays are a break in the routine.”
Resting today?
Are you resting today? Is this the day you re-charge? For me it’s a day to get caught up and get back into a routine. Wish me luck. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂 P.S. Come back tomorrow at 6 am for the President’s Day Sale!
Take time to breathe.
Today’s the day (at least for me) that I sit in my pajamas, enjoy my tea (no coffee here), and just breathe. Do you take time to breathe? How do you re-charge? It feels good to just sit for a bit. Here’s to enjoying the moment. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂
Rest is a good thing.
Rest is a good thing and by rest I mean a change in routine. What are you doing today to change it up? If you click into the images section you find several images…a rest stop sign, someone sleeping, and some pretty powerful quotes. Continue reading “Defining rest.”

Have you ever searched or googled the word rest? So many different ideas of rest come up when doing this. Someone wants to sell a mattress to get the best rest ever. Someone wants me to go to their restaurant to have a break from cooking. Someone wants me to go to their hotel toContinue reading “Many definitions of rest.”
Resting or preparing?
Are you resting today or is my mind wandering away with you? Are your thoughts on everything you have to catch up on with work? It will still be there on Tuesday. Enjoy your moments. You never know when that moment will be a memory for someone else, good or bad. Be there. Be here. Continue reading “Resting or preparing?”
Change your scenery.
Sometimes rest is getting out, changing your scenery, and trying something new. This last week my family took the RV out to Vegas (including Shadow my wonder poodle) and we took a minute to re-connect. We did things we never thought we would. (This is not one of those moments that the phrase “what happensContinue reading “Change your scenery.”
