Easter week.

It’s Management Monday! Here’s what’s happening this week.

I wish I could say there is more happening but there is not. So here is the little bit that is.

Thank you to all that signed up for the Stamp of the Week online class. Emails will be going out today and I will be watching when product ships and let you know.

The next online class will be happening next Monday the 13th through Saturday the 18th. It will be a perpetual calendar with card organizer, cards, and envelopes.

I will be announcing this afternoon about an Easter basket for you to build with your kids or yourself. Cost will be $10 shipped. So stay tuned.

That’s about all for now.

Are you still resting?

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day we usually rest and recharge.

I don’t know about you, but I am about done resting. I am recharged and ready to go so tell that nasty virus I want to come out and play. Since that probably won’t work, instead I will keep working and planning ahead. So could you use some help for Easter?

I bet if you have kids and have been inside with them constantly you are probably re-thinking buying candy for their Easter basket. So here are some ideas to fill their basket with no candy.

  • Crafting supplies, of course (Bet you didn’t see that one coming.)
  • Stickers
  • Balloons
  • Glow sticks
  • Temporary tattoos
  • Toy cars
  • Bracelets, rings, or earrings
  • Bouncy balls
  • Whistles
  • Jumprope
  • Slap bracelets
  • Bubbles
  • Silly putty
  • Money
  • Books
  • Gift card for after you can go out again

I hope this helps.

P.S. I have gift certificates if you want them to pick.

Tulip Favors.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today a tulip favor is being created. All the instructions and video are to follow.

  1. Cut with the Paper Trimmer a square from Call Me Clover Card Stock at 2 3/4″ X 2 3/4″. Score on all sides at 3/4″. Trim up the score line until the other line meets on two sides only. The sides need to be opposite of each other. Take Tear & Tape and attach corners to the sides to form a box.
  2. Cut with the Paper Trimmer a strip from Call Me Clover Card Stock at 1/2″ X 4″. If you want a longer handle then cut at 1/2″ X 5″. Take two strips of Tear & Tape and attach the handle to the box.
  3. Punch out tulips from Rococo Rose Card Stock with the Tulip Punch. You will need four. If you prefer you can stamp the tulips with Rococo Rose Ink on Whisper White Card Stock and then punch out. Tip: Place Tear & Tape on basket, not tulips, when attaching. This way you don’t have stickies to worry about.
  4. Stamp Happy Easter from the Welcome Easter Stamp Set on Whisper White Card Stock with Rococo Rose Ink. Use the Paper Trimmer to cut down. Use the Snips to create the dove tails. Attach with Tear & Tape placed on the tulip.
  5. Fill with shreds and little candies.

It’s all about the catalog.

It’s Technique Tuesday! I am supposed to be writing about a tip or new way to create today. But I can’t. I just can’t. The new catalog starts today and that’s where my brain is. So instead let’s do this…

Tell me what is your must have, favorite, to die for product and what you like about it or why. Each comment gets 10 reward points.

Hint, hint…this is a month you want more points. You can earn points until the 14th and all must be redeemed by June 30th. There will be an awesome basket to finish the year so don’t wait!

When one piece of paper becomes a basket.

It’s Wacky Wednesday! This is the day where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Today is the day I will show you how to use one piece of paper and get an entire basket out of it. No, I will not be cutting strips like before and gluing them all together. This project is rather simple.

So stay tuned for tonight’s Facebook Live at 7 pm to learn how to make these Easter baskets.

Want to go on a picnic?

This month’s Paper Pumpkin is picnic themed.Β  Have you gone on a picnic recently?Β  Do you pick up some fried chicken or do you make tamales?Β  What is your tradition?

For today’s picnic we are having paper.Β  I know it’s not the most appetizing but that’s what is on the menu.Β  I took the Apron of Love and the Basket Weave Embossing Folder and created this cherry pie in the sky card.Β  The basket and apple card are created from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit.
