It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today I want to show you how to create with the faux silk technique.
For the three cards you will need:
Thick Basic White or Very Vanilla Card Stock (Annual Catalog page 140) (cut to 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ or cut to 4 1/4″ X 11″, scored at 5 1/2″)
Early Espresso Card Stock (Annual Catalog page 123)(cut to 3″ square)

This is the official announcement for what is happening on Facebook Live this Wednesday at 7 pm! Join me as I show you how to do the faux silk technique. It sounds much more difficult than it is.
When you order the Facebook Live materials you will get enough supplies to make three cards with envelopes that will be shown on Wednesday. Cost for the materials is $10 this week.

Heidi’s In-Person Craft Class
Come join the fun on Saturday, August 20 from 10-1 as we create a spritzed bag with 3 favors inside, a cute tag, and a pocket card to match.
Cost of the class is $15 per Crafter or $10 for Team Members. Please reserve your seat no later than Wednesday, August 17.
Refreshments will be served as we create together.

Are you missing in-person classes? Well, now you can choose everything. When you choose to be a host you get to pick exactly what you want: your location, your food, your projects, and your free products. These are the only two weekends I have available but I do have weekdays open.
So let me know where I am going and when. I look forward to what ideas you have to share with me!
It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.
Have you noticed that a rest stop along the highway is set up to give you your necessities? You can stop to use the restroom, get something to eat, fuel up the car, and usually get some caffeine to keep you going. What you can’t do is ride a roller coaster or do some shopping. These rest stops are geared towards your essential needs, not new tennis shoes.
This is a great reminder that when you rest it is about the basics. Get some sleep, something good to eat, and put your feet up. Don’t let a whole bunch of extras or distractions get you to use up extra energy. Stick to the basics so you feel recharged.
