Turn once
Score at 1 ¼”.
Cut small rectangle out.
Cut up on score lines.
Tear & Tape Adhesive on tab and 3 of the bottom pieces.
Punch hole for ribbon.
Early Espresso ¼” Faux Suede Trim
Wonderful Snowflake flipped over and colored with Sponge Dauber and Early Espresso Ink. Attach with Mini Glue Dots.
Tag from Basic White Card Stock cut to 1 ¼”. Punched with Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. Stamp to/from with Scary Cute and Early Espresso Ink. Attach with Dimensionals.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

It’s Technique Tuesday! To use the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint you will need a Heat Tool.
You put the paint over what you have stamped or not. It just needs to be where you want snow. Then you heat it slowly to create a 3D effect.
Now, here’s the funny part…take your Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. After your “snow” cools off after heating it then you can color it. You can make a shadow from a nearby building or tree by using a very light gray, brown, etc. But you can also use the yellow to create “yellow snow”.

Yucca Valley Holiday Faire
The Yucca Valley Holiday Faire is this Saturday, December 3 from 10-3 at the Yucca Valley Community Center. There will be raffles, snow for the kids to play in, craft fair, Santa, and more. Plan to come out! See you Saturday!

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.
I have to say that sometimes rest looks like me flat on the couch and other times it looks like me in the kitchen. If you don’t know me well…I love to cook. Not so much on the baking side but definitely on the cooking side. Yes, I used to sell Pampered Chef but I wasn’t good at selling the products. Why? Because I don’t measure much while I am cooking. If you don’t measure then you don’t sell very many products do you? 🙂
But today I am in the kitchen cooking our Thanksgiving meal. By the end of the day I will be tired but I will be full, mentally and physically. I have found out over the years that my love language is through service or acts of kindness. So my way of saying I love you or I care for you is to ask if you have eaten yet.
This always tickles me as my Grama was the same way. I can still hear her as I walked through the front door. Her raspy, somewhat hoarse, voice (from years of smoking) rattled through the house “Jon, you hungry? What you want to eat?”. If I replied that I wasn’t hungry the same reply came. A plate with a sandwich or some scrambled eggs and toast (depending on the time of day). It was just a little something to tie me over until lunch or dinner. She would always say that I needed to eat because I was too skinny.
And now I find myself doing much of the same with my daughter. As soon as she said she was coming home for more than a minute the next question was “what do you want to eat?”. How time changes things all while staying the same.
