It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day I encourage you to focus on giving back or paying it forward. I don’t know if you are aware but the first Saturday in October is known as World Card Making Day. Since I will be vending at the Gem & Mineral Show at the Sportsman’s Club in Joshua Tree I figured I could give back to you. Anyone that stops by my booth on Saturday will be able to create a card to send to brighten someone’s day for FREE! This is my way of celebrating World Card Making Day! It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! You know that the Tear and Tape is great for sticking things together, especially 3-D items like boxes, bags, etc. But, did you know, that it’s also great for embossing? Yes, embossing.
Tip: If the powder doesn’t stick fully or not enough sticks to the tape then heat the tape first. The tape will need to be just warm to take on more powder, not melted.

It’s Technique Tuesday! I figured instead of telling you about a new stamping technique I would tell you about a new thinking technique. Since the holidays are coming you might be stamping more multiples than just one or two cards. When creating a bunch of cards the thinking is a bit different. Instead of completing each card I tend to think in stages. I get all my ink done. Then all my coloring. Next comes all the punching. Gluing. And then packaging.
Each step I try to do in completion so all I have to think about is the same step over and over. I tend to create quicker when I don’t have to remember each step. If you need help thinking through a project to make it more efficient please contact me.

It’s Sabbath Sunday for me! I am resting by getting things cleaned up and getting a few things stamped. I have many fairs coming up and much to plan for. And at the end of the day I am hoping to be sitting at the fire pit toasting my marshmallow for my s’more. I do have two questions for you.
I am off of here to clean and then to go toast some marshmallows.
