A reminder of what’s happening and what’s to come.

It’s Sale Saturday! Here’s what’s on sale and what is to come for this Halloween week. I want you to practice something for me. Ready? Say “trick-or-treat”!

So for now here is what is on promotion right now through the end of the month, select Designer Series Paper!

For more details and a list of which patterns are on sale please contact me.

And here is what is going on sale through me only next week. I figured instead of doing a mystery party you would probably enjoy some deals for all to participate in. So I decided to instead to do a week of “trick-or-treat”.

For this week I thought to do a promotion every day but I know I like to plan. So instead I will lay out the promotions for all week right now and then remind throughout. All of these promotions are only through me and not through Stampin’ Up! corporate. You cannot find these with another demonstrator. All of these promotions will run Monday the 26th at 9:30 am through Friday the 30th at 7:30 pm.

There is one promotion and one raffle that will happen only on Saturday the 31st which is why everything else needs to finish on Friday. You will understand in a bit. So here are the details.

  • Order any Designer Series Paper that is on sale and get FREE shipping.
  • Order any Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack and get a color lifter FREE.
  • Order any Christmas stamps and get a FREE pack of jingle bells.
  • Order the Beautiful Autumn Bundle and get a FREE pack of coordinating ribbon or acorn trinkets.
  • Order a Stampin’ Seal and Refill and get a pack of Dimensionals (mini or regular) for FREE.

FOR SATURDAY THE 30TH ONLY…

  • For anyone that orders $50 or more during the week you will be entered into the drawing for mystery host. One lucky crafter will get FREE products to enjoy.
  • Pre-order the Quite Curvy Bundle and get the coordinating paper FREE. This bundle is available November 3 through January 4. (flyer is below)

For my Team ONLY! Email me what you would like by Friday. Since I know you shouldn’t participate in the promotions when you order yourself here is what I am doing for you. Pick anything for $10 or less and I will order it for you. No tricks, just treats! Thank you for being on my Team!

If you would like to be on my Team to get treats regularly please contact me.

To qualify for these bonuses you will need to use the link https://www.stampinup.com?hostcode=HGT7KYYD to shop or enter host code HGT7KYYD. If you prefer to order in person please contact me.

I hope you enjoy your Halloween week full of treats but no tricks.

Using dies to overlay.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Today is the day we learn about dies or punches closing a card. You can use an accent piece to overlay on a cad or project to make it appear to close.

In this case I used a gatefold card and then used glittery bats to close it.

For the card you will need to cut your base with a Paper Trimmer to 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″. On the 8 1/2″ side score at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″ to form the folds. The Designer Series Paper panels are cut at 5″ X 3 3/4″ with borders cut at 1″ X 3 3/4″. The white inset is cut at 4 3/4″ X 3 1/2″. For the front side panels cut the Designer Series Paper to 1 3/4″ X 5 1/4″.

First Day of Fall

It’s Technique Tuesday! I thought what better way to celebrate the first day of Fall or Autumn than with my favorite for the season…candy corn. Some of you might think falling leaves but just look at this cute card.

The technique I want you to take away from this is how to make those delicious candies. I used the Stitched Triangles Dies and was able to enjoy these fall treats without gaining one pound.

So remember not only to look at what you have upside down and backwards, but also look at what it can become if pulled apart.

When heavy metal takes center stage.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today we are allowing heavy metal to take center stage. Don’t get your ear plugs or run away, there is no noise involved.

For today’s project we are taking the Brushed Metallic Card Stock and letting it be front and center. You will notice that there are three different colors to these papers…bronze, copper, and gold. With these papers you can use any color card base you want but the mat is important. For me the deeper the color the more the foils stand out. If it is a lighter color mat then it tends to lighten the foils as well. With the bronze this is great but with the copper and gold it tends to wash them out a bit. So pay attention to what mats you are using to bring out the colors in your focus piece.

Here’s the list of what you will need to complete this card.

  • Thick Very Vanilla Card Stock
  • Blackberry Bliss Card Stock
  • All 3 of the Brushed Metallic Card Stock
  • Scrap piece of card stock for the base behind the Brushed Metallic Card Stock
  • Scrap of Very Vanilla Card Stock
  • Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad
  • Celebration Tidings Photopolymer Stamp Set
  • Story Label Punch
  • Irridescent Pearls
  • Stampin’ Seal
  • Mini Glue Dots
  • Dimensionals
  • Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder
  • Snips

Sometimes easy is what gets it done.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Sometimes easy is the only thing that will get it done when you are in a time crunch. If you need a quick favor for Halloween for your co-workers or for your kid’s class then think about the coffin boxes. With some tear and tape and ribbon you are off to the races. (You will probably need some candy too.)

Just remember to give enough time for them to get here. If you are thinking of doing these don’t wait and contact me to order now.

Back to school card.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today is the day we sing “inch worm, inch worm…”. Did that just play in your head?

As everyone is getting ready for back to school (unless you have survived it) I am going back to the drawing board. Today’s card has a chalkboard or blackboard for the mat. I thought about that last night as I was shooting the Live, are there even chalkboards any longer? Or is everything a dry erase board or even a smart board. Nevertheless, here’s a chalkboard with an inch worm for back to school.

He’s easy to create. Grab a white card base, daffodil delight mat, basic black inner mat, and some scraps of granny apple green. Add a chalk marker and some google eyes and you are ready to go.

In the video, not only do I show you how to make this card, but I also show you some more new products from the Holiday Catalog. Come pick up your copy at the Open House on Saturday! Here’s the video link…https://youtu.be/U3oSMZ67asQ
