Grouping stamps.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

Have you ever had a bunch of small stamps that you didn’t know what to do with? Well, group them.

Place a bunch of stamps on one block to create your own custom background.

Chalk marker to the rescue.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Have you ever used the Chalk Marker to rescue your project? For today’s project I stamped with Early Espresso Ink and then did an overlay in white with the Chalk Marker. Allow it to dry for about 30 seconds and you are ready to go.

How have you fixed your mistakes? What is your go to fix?

How to change your habits for good.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest and recharge.

Do you rest or do you collapse because you need the time off and haven’t allowed yourself a minute to recoup? Instead, try this.

Notice that you need a break.

Create a minute to recover or do something different from your routine.

Discover new things to do to expand your mind and maybe your body.

I have recently started reading more and exploring new music. What about you?

Friends see you for the diamond you will be.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.

When I say that a friend sees the diamond in the rough who do you think of? Who accepts you for who you are and helps you to become a better person? Who is in it for the long haul with you?

For me I have a few that I can say this about. Is it several people or just one? Who comes to mind when I talk about going through life together?

When gems become ribbon.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

Today I am using the Gilded Gems to create a string, ribbon, or cord. Instead of actually using a piece of fabric I have decided to use embellishments to give the illusion of a ribbon.

What else do you think could be used to mimic a ribbon?

Using dies to overlay.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Today is the day we learn about dies or punches closing a card. You can use an accent piece to overlay on a cad or project to make it appear to close.

In this case I used a gatefold card and then used glittery bats to close it.

For the card you will need to cut your base with a Paper Trimmer to 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″. On the 8 1/2″ side score at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″ to form the folds. The Designer Series Paper panels are cut at 5″ X 3 3/4″ with borders cut at 1″ X 3 3/4″. The white inset is cut at 4 3/4″ X 3 1/2″. For the front side panels cut the Designer Series Paper to 1 3/4″ X 5 1/4″.
