It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to ask you have you ever really liked a certain color or pattern of paper? You want to use it all the time but it often gives your card or project all the same look. Nothing seems to stand out. Well, then offset it. Take your background and yourContinue reading “How to offset the same paper.”

Making sure your paper is dry.
It’s Technique Tuesday! On Saturday for the Anniversary Party we dropped ink on watercolor paper, let it dry, and punched out a shape for the card. If you are punching out your shape after you watercolor (instead of before) make sure that the paper is really dry. If it is still damp then the punchContinue reading “Making sure your paper is dry.”
Sale-A-Bration!
It’s Sale Saturday! And Sale-A-Bration is in full swing. January is almost gone and with that one third of the sale too! Don’t wait until it’s the last week. Some things are already starting to sell out. The butterfly and cake builder punches are nearly sold out. The good news is they will be backContinue reading “Sale-A-Bration!”

Take the pieces and parts of everything. A leaf punch becomes a flower’s stem after snipping the leaves off. AContinue reading “Pieces and parts.”
Punches are to elevate.
I hope everything is good with you and everyone is back to work or school. Holidays always seem to give a good break to the routine, but in many ways mess up things too. So, if you are feeling a little less than “ready to go” I can empathize with you. For today we willContinue reading “Punches are to elevate.”
How to stay consistent with punching
When you look at your products sometimes you need to look upside down and sideways. Did you know a circle punch can create a scalloped border? A pair of sunglasses becomes a mustache? I’m sure there are plenty more but you get the idea. When you punch for the border, for example, you want yourContinue reading “How to stay consistent with punching”
