When a flower center becomes a tail of a whale.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Have you been getting in the habit of looking at your products backwards, sideways, and upside down? So the other day I was creating (go figure) and a remnant from a leaf came out. To me it looked much likeContinue reading “When a flower center becomes a tail of a whale.”

See the corners.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! When you are stamping and the only clear block left is just a little too small for that last stamp…don’t do it. When you forget your die cutting machine.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Today we are talking about using your dies without the die cutting machine (Big Shot, etc.). If you forget your machine or want to emboss instead grab your piercing mat, bone folder, card stock (or designer series paper), die ofContinue reading “When you forget your die cutting machine.”

When in doubt use more texture.

It’s Technique Tuesday! When using the die cuts don’t be afraid to cut them out of something other than paper or card stock. The dollar store thin foam (sometimes called fun foam) is great for dies. You can stack a few together as well. Today’s image is actually from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. HappyContinue reading “When in doubt use more texture.”
