It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Recently I created a bunch of baby cards using the Cracker & Treat Box Dies to create a front for an accent. So I trimmed the popper piece to become the main piece on my card.
You can’t see the score marks in the picture but they definitely create some extra separation for the letters.
When you look at the products you do have make sure to look at them in pieces too. Cut them apart, turn them upside down, etc.
It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to talk to you about masking.
When you want to color in a portion of a stamp but you don’t want to use a marker, then you mask. You take a scrap piece of card stock and stamp the image again. Cut out the part you want exposed and then stamp through the image. After you are done you might want to save the mask by placing it in your case along with the set.
It’s Management Monday! Here’s what’s happening this week and maybe a bit beyond.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.
How many of us are told to rest when life gets overwhelming? When you’re not feeling well? But how many of you treat rest instead of as a last resort rather as a precious commodity? I have learned that one must block off time to have some fun.
Instead of treating rest like a punishment, instead treat it as a reward. It’s a precious resource that should be invested in.
I hope this message finds you in good health and fully rested.
It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
Have you ever done something (good or bad) and it wasn’t much of anything to you? In fact you don’t even remember doing it. But twenty years later a friend comes back and says …”remember that thing you said? That turned my life around.”
Sometimes I wonder what impact I have had on others. And I think back to all those that have touched my life. It may not be something they remember but I sure do.
So just remember to practice kindness as we never know what will stay with someone in the moment.
It’s Thumbtack Thursday! Today is the day that you share your favorite card or project you have created. Something you have made that you deem worthy of putting up on the board. So share with everyone what you are putting the proverbial thumbtack in to show.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Did you know that brand new punches have a slight residue on them usually? So when you first get them make sure you punch a couple of times on a scratch piece of card stock or paper. And maybe keep the scraps as that oily edge just might be the look you are waiting for.
