Sunday is a day for beauty.

Usually is my day to rest, but I am finishing up the Orchid Festival until 3!  Come out and see the rows and rows of orchids.  The beauty of each flower and the smell is divine.  If you decide to rest please do some for me.

There’s quite a bit going on right now so if you’re not awake yet go get your coffee first.  No, really.  Caffeine!

Did you get it?  Take a sip.  Now breathe and let’s get started.

Second, here are the two big promotions right now.  There is one for World Card Making Day and another for Designer Series Paper.  If you want more details please comment with your e-mail and I will get you the detailed flyers.

What happens in Vegas…

Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.  After much processing and research I have an idea.  There is a fellow crafter that is collecting cards for the families of the victims.  I will be sending a box of cards to her on October 16th.  If you would like to participate please drop off or mail cards to be received no later than the 14th.

Please, if you have a special way of giving back or paying it forward comment below.  I am always looking for new ideas.

How to create a silhouette.

During this time of year a silhouette is important.  So grab your dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and get going.  Cut a circle with your dies to create the moon.  Then punch the cat out.  Remember to sponge the moon with coordinating colors.

Clouds are not just for the sky.

Today is one of my favorite themes, Wacky Wednesday.  I love looking outside the box to see what else we can create with a product.  Today the cloud from “Up and Away” becomes a hole for a tag punch.

Here is the finished tag with this!

Remember that the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch matches with the stamp set Half Full.

If you create today please post to the Facebook Page.

Crayons are not just for kids.

Here is an old technique with a twist.  So grab your crayons and watercolor paints and let’s get to creating.  Take your embossed folder and use it.  Then grab your white crayon and rub.  The next step is to watercolor.  Here is the link for full instructions, http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/debosseddieresist/.

Let me know if you would like to create this in a class by commenting.  Here’s the finished card.

Today is such a Monday.

As I write this my head is spinning.  Not only because there is so much going on in the world of Stampin’ Up!, but because of the world in general.  I cannot put words to Vegas.  I don’t know what to say, how to say it, or any solution to solve it.  I will say I will pray but I wish there was a magic button to make it all go away.  So if you don’t hear much from me about this it’s because I am processing it much like you are.

For me, I will go on and instead tell you about what I can control…the events.

This Saturday and Sunday I will be up at Gubler’s Orchard Festival.  Come see me!  (You can also come see Tara perform for her first ever jazz concert.)

This is the beginning of a new year for me (Stampin’ Up!’s qualifying year begins October 1st).  I am working on my goals this week so if you have feedback please let me know.  I will be working towards the incentive trip to the Greek Isles.  Now for all the details on how to get this done.

There is an order being submitted tonight!  If you would like to order online please use host code 9J7BEBMM to help Serina.

Is that enough for now?  I certainly hope so. 🙂

I am back in my craft room today. 🙂

Sundays are for rest and a little shopping.

Well, if you hadn’t seen my adventures last night here’s a photo.

.facebook_1506877391912

I went to go see Tara perform for her first competition.  Thank you for supporting my business so I am free to go and do for the ones I love.

So, today is a day of rest.  After four events this week and Joel travelling I am sitting in my pajamas and enjoying the pictures from this week.  I wouldn’t change it for the world but I am glad today is a rest day.

How has your week been?  Are you resting today?

I’m not sure I will make it back in my craft room today.  Tara and I are off to get a little shopping done and then I need to get everything organized so I can start this week off great.

October 1st is the new year for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  So, new goals and (best for you) awesome promotions!

If you do create today please post photos on the Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/StampingWithJoni.

It’s Friday!!!

Today’s the day I think more consciously about giving back.  I know we should be doing this every day but Fridays are focused on this (for me).  I hope I touch the ones closest to me on a regular basis.  But today I thought I would do a search for “how to send a card” or “who to send a card to”.  The first one on the list was Operation Gratitude.  These cards go to those serving in the military.  Here is the link if you would like to add this to your Friday, https://www.operationgratitude.com/

Here’s to making ripples today (and every day).  Now go create!

Happy Crafting!
