It’s Sabbath Sunday and I am having a slow morning (thankfully). While I don’t especially like shopping I know it needs to get done once in a while. My daughter, Tara, is the same way. If the fairy with the magic wand could magically make things appear she would do it. But instead we will be doing a bit of running to find some new jeans for her.
While it is not too restful for me to shop I am choosing to look at the silver lining. I get to spend time with her and probably have a yummy lunch too. I know it won’t take long since it is not our favorite thing, but it is time together. I don’t see her much with rehearsals, school, and friends. Now that she is driving it is even less.
I don’t say this for pity, but instead to remind you (and myself) that it’s our perspective on things. Instead of saying I “have to” I am now saying I “get to”. It’s amazing how your attitude changes.
Is there something you need to shift your perspective on?
Happy Crafting!
With inky fingers,
Joni 🙂
