Seeing the forest for the trees.

It’s Tutorial Thursday!  Have you heard the saying that you can’t see the forest for the trees?  Well, today we are creating the trees so you are good.  I don’t know if you could see it, but there is a bit of Wink of Stella Clear added to the trees to mimic snow. I hopeContinue reading “Seeing the forest for the trees.”

Pick up tool is for more than sequins.

The new pick up tool is for more than just sequins.  It can be used to shape flowers, score card bases, pierce cardstock, loosen stuck dies from paper, remove embellishments, and pick up sequins. What uses can you think of for this new tool? Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂

Let the paper shine.

The Designer Series Paper is gorgeous on its own or paired with something.  Sometimes you just have to let the paper shine on its own.  In this case I accented the paper with a solid piece of cardstock and some ribbon. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂

Sometimes the give back is obvious.

Sometimes you have to look at how to give back and some times it smacks you in the face.  I wanted to take a minute and say thank you to everyone that contributed for Penny.  I stopped by Monday to give her the bag of cards, gift cards, journal, and kit.  It was too muchContinue reading “Sometimes the give back is obvious.”

And some days you just mess up.

Well, the Wacky Wednesday is me this time.  Have you ever had a moment where you think how could I have been that stupid?  Well, here I am admitting this to you.  Here’s what happened. Last week we had Card Class and we created this very cute denim pocket card. So the stitching on theContinue reading “And some days you just mess up.”

Brayer to create a background.

Using the sponge brayer can be rather tricky.  I have had some say that they don’t like the lines it produces.  Well, today I am using those lines in my favor to create a background.  First, I took Pineapple Punch and rolled the entire strip.  Then it was Mango Melody and finally Poppy Parade. IfContinue reading “Brayer to create a background.”
