It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Today I want to show you a partial coloring technique. The product is used in the normal way but not the stamps. When you stamp you have to think that the stamped image is continuing after the mat. Then you color only a portion of the picture.
This gives an incomplete picture of what is supposed to be there. Do you like this technique?
It’s Technique Tuesday! Do you know you can make your own mask or stencil?
Take a piece of Window Sheet and die cut it. You might need to run it through a few times as Window Sheet is a bit tough to cut through. You now have a mask or stencil.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.
I’ve been reading up on farmland. No, I am not moving to plant crops. But as much as farmland has been in the news I figured I should read a bit on it. I like to know enough so when things come up I can at least understand the basic vocabulary. But what does this have to do with rest? You’ll see. Keep reading.
A piece of land can be used several times before it needs to rest or lay fallow. When it lays fallow this can mean that it lies completely empty, that it’s crop is traded out for a different one, or that the soil is worked and replenished with manure and added minerals.
So how does this relate to us? If you need to rest do so. But depending on what’s coming next will be dependent on how you rest. If you are planning on doing something physical you might want to incorporate yoga, stretching, or a light workout into that rest so you stay mobile. If you have a mental challenge like a huge test then you will want to eat right, get enough sleep, move, and maybe even look over your notes.
It just depends on what is coming next as to how you rest.
If you would like to order online please use the link https://www.stampinup.com?hostcode=QKAUMCGY. This is the link to qualify for the Club order. This link expires Monday, August 1 at noon (pacific time).

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
I am sure you have done something kind that you thought was insignificant. And I am certain the recipient probably didn’t think it was insignificant. It’s all in perspective.
But if you have felt unlucky or that all the crazy people are suddenly appearing out of nowhere, you might want to look inward. I know when I was going through a bad spell I had to finally change my attitude before my luck started changing. This isn’t always the case but much of life is your reaction to it.
And I would encourage you to be the change you want to see. If you are not finding the kindness then be more kind. If you are not finding someone to make cards then make cards. If you are not finding someone…and the list goes on. Be the change you are wishing for.

Did you know that the Basic Pearlized Enamel Effects can be used for more than coloring? In this case they can be dotted along an empty sheet of Mini Glue Dots. After they are dry they can then be peeled off and placed on top of a Mini Glue Dot. You then can have your own enamel dots. Use the white enamel effects and a re-inker and you have any color you want. Just remember that although they look like the old fashioned candy buttons do not eat them. 🙂
