It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
Have you ever been in a crowd of people and the entire group seems to only have one perspective? It seems that once emotion (whether it be anger, sadness, or happiness) permeates a crowd it is contagious. Everyone seems to be of the same emotion.
These are the times I step back and analyze if I am being swept away via peer pressure or if it something I am truly feeling. At those moments I tend to stay quiet while the rest are quite ruckus. And, if you know me, I am not one to stay quiet usually.
It’s at these times that usually someone will ask why I am so quiet. It’s at this moment that I will give a different point of view.
Are you out of character when you are deep in thought or processing something? Do you get more quiet, loud…?
Remember that just because your opinion is different it is not wrong. Make sure to speak up.
