It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward!
Have you ever had one of those days that just seems to drag on and on and on…and on? The more you try to do the worse it gets. And the more you try the harder it becomes. No matter what you do your progress just seems to be going backwards. Yeah…me too.
And on those days I swear your friends and family have a sixth sense. It’s like the “bat signal” is lit up and everyone knows what’s going on. Well, everyone that is close to you and knows you. These are the days that a friend calls or you get a sweet text or your partner comes up and gives you one of those bear hugs.
And sometimes, once in a blue moon, you get a sweet note. That was me a couple of days ago. My daughter wrote a note to say how she was grateful for everything we have done for her and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by her. And that she is finally in a good place physically and mentally and that she can finally grow.
That made my day and my week. All the struggle (and hustle related to it) has been worth it. And yes I would do it again. But for this moment I am going to relax and enjoy the sunshine and do a little happy dance.
