Laughter is a way to give back.

Do you know someone going through a rough patch?  They might just need a laugh.  Have you been grumpy?  Find someone that can help you giggle.

Yesterday at Card Class we evidentally all needed to laugh.  We laughed so much that the store owner next door came to see what was the matter.  We weren’t drinking.  We were simply enjoying each others’ company, rather loudly.

While at OnStage we were introduced to a comedian that was so funny.  If you would like some videos from him (Jason) you can text “JHE” to 22828 and he will deliver funny videos right to you.  Sometimes that is all it takes to change your day.

Coloring on vellum.

The new Stampin’ Blends are awesome!  They dry while coloring on vellum.  Finally, something that dries without having to heat set.  And there is enough color to block the adhesive.  Take a look at the Facebook Live that has been uploaded to YouTube for a full tutorial.

Bell accents or ribbon holes?

I just watched the video from Stampin’ Up! for the Stockings Die.  Did you know that the curved slit is intentioned to be an accent piece for the bell?  It’s not a ribbon slit or hole.  Well, now I have a new use for it.

If you ever receive a product and don’t know what its intended use is please contact me.  If I don’t know I will find out.

New Techniques for the Stampin’ Blends

I have learned a bunch by watching this video.  It’s a great way to get a jump start on coloring with the Stampin’ Blends.  So I’ll make this short and sweet…go watch!

Managing our Monday…

Today is a bit rough for me with all the travel and my eyes are a little heavy.  But I will survive. (Did you hear the song there?)  I will be writing about OnStage later this week after my brain catches back up to me.  So, for the time in between let’s go over some events, shall we?

Today is drop in time from 11:30-1:30 or 6-8.  I will not have anything new to see from OnStage (yet) but I will be here for questions.

Tomorrow, Thursday, and Saturday (4-7) are Card Class!  Thank you to those that have RSVP’ed.  Now I have to finish cutting.

Saturday morning I will be at the 29 Palms Senior Center for the Zumbathon.  This is a good time to get some stocking stuffers, enter the raffle, grab your voucher, and maybe even zumba (dance).

If you would like to place an order online please use host code NXXHCDUW through tonight at 9 pm.  If you prefer to order in person either contact me or stop in during drop in times today.

Sundays are for rest.

Are you resting today for me?  As I am finishing up OnStage I am resting my brain but not my body.  I am travelling back and will be hitting the ground running for drop in times tomorrow.  So put your feet up.  Anyone that posts a photo on my page with your version of rest will get two reward points.

Sales, promotions, and more!

It’s Saturday and I am busy learning how to help you better!  Have you been keeping up with the Deal of the Day?  If you’re not on Facebook you need to find a friend that is.

If you would like to order online please use host code XXWQYQJP through Monday night!  If you prefer to order in person you can contact me by leaving a voicemail, e-mail, message, or text.

Remember to send a card today.

Today is the day to give back.  This is the focus of today.  It’s not that it does not happen on other days but I find if you are not intentional then things may not happen.  So send that card TODAY!

Anyone that posts a photo of a card being mailed (remember to cover the address) gets 5 reward points per post.  So if you are mailing 3 cards make sure to post them individually.  This is my way of giving back to you, by rewarding you!

Embossing paste…to sponge or mix?

When using the embossing paste do you sponge color on after or mix it in to the paste?  My answer, as always, it depends.  It depends on what kind of color you want.  Do you want really vivid, deep color or just a splash?  For really deep color you want to mix some of your re-inker bottle into your paste.  For a little more subtle you will want to sponge on your color with a sponge and ink pad after the paste dries.

Give it a try and see which you like better.

Alcohol markers color more than paper.

Have you tried the new Stampin’ Blends, the alcohol markers?  Did you know they can color more than paper?  You can color tile, glass, embellishments, and more!  Take a look!
