Markers are for more than paper.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

Today I want to talk to you about how to use the markers for more than coloring on paper or card stock.

The Stampin’ Write Markers can also be used to color on stamps. Since the ink in the markers (round barrel) is the same as what we have in the ink pads you can color stamps. Just grab whatever color(s) and color away. When done coloring just huff on the stamp and the moisture in your breath will bring the ink back to life. Now stamp the image on card stock or paper just like normal.

And the Stampin’ Blends (alcohol-based markers)(rectangular barrel) can be used to color glass, metal, cork, wood, embellishments, and card stock. They cannot be used to color the stamps though. They dry so quickly that they are not effective for this. But any other material can be colored and it is almost immediately dry with the Stampin’ Blends.

Happy Crafting!

With inky fingers,

Joni 🙂
