Do not procrastinate.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest and recharge. For me I am in need of playing catch up so the preparation will help me to rest later.

I don’t know about you but if I have something I need to get done, then I am not able to truly rest and recharge. The price of procrastination is rather high. I have learned this over the years and continue to learn it.

I have this cycle of perfectionism that sometimes slows me down and will occasionally even stop me. It stalls me to the point that I feel useless and almost get rendered with paralysis. Now it has gotten better over the years, but in the beginning it would just stop me. I often gave up what I love to not have to deal with anxiety, knots in the gut, and more.

I say all of this to make you aware of what simply setting a deadline can do for you. Once I started setting deadlines then I was able to get things done and truly rest. It’s amazing how much sweeter a night’s rest is when your plate is clean.

I also started moving at least five days a week and eating better. Now my energy is up and, on most days, I am ready to conquer the world.

I don’t say this to brag, but to give you ideas on how to get back on track. How are you doing with moving or taking care of those Resolutions?

Happy Crafting!

With inky fingers,

Joni 🙂
