Sometimes rest and re-charging comes from some interesting places. I went last night to one of my good friends child’s birthday party. Of course by the time I got there everyone was already gone. But sometimes the best memories come in those still moments when everyone has already gone. She opened her present and gave a big hug while whispering thank you in my ear. A few minutes later she had opened her craft kit and made me my own thank you card.
She gave it to me with a huge smile and her name signed on the back in crayon.
It’s in these moments I get rejuvenated. It’s the reason I do what I do.
What re-charges you?
Happy Crafting!
With inky fingers,
Joni 🙂
Fantastic! I will snap a picture of the cards on desk once I get them into my room. I am starting to stress a bit as I think about everything I need to do to be ready. First days are long. I am wiped now choosing to print things here than at school. Dreading tomorrow’s forced wake up. My party is over too!
