Giving back by filling up.

Do you feel like everyone is asking for something?  Fundraiser for this, help me with that, and it keeps going.  Do you ever want to say ENOUGH and run away?  What about me?  When do I get a turn? That’s when you need to take a second, break the routine, and re-charge.  You have toContinue reading “Giving back by filling up.”

Dimensionals are not just to elevate.

Dimensionals can be used for so many things.  So today I am hoping to get you thinking outside the box a bit.  Listed below are several different ways to use dimensionals (mini or regular size).  To pop up an accent piece on a card or project.  To level a card if there is a portionContinue reading “Dimensionals are not just to elevate.”

Mirror image.

I know we’ve talked about this before but I love this new technique that I have discovered.  It’s how to make a mirror image with the silicone mats.  Take whatever you are stamping and stamp on the mat instead of your cardstock.  Then flip on to your cardstock and rub to transfer.  You will getContinue reading “Mirror image.”

Last night we had a good time at the Encouragement Class.  Not only did we create encouragement cards for cancer patients, but we had a good time doing it.  And through everything I learned something.  Take the pieces and parts of everything. A leaf punch becomes a flower’s stem after snipping the leaves off.  AContinue reading “Pieces and parts.”

Sundays are for rest. What is your therapy?

Besides papercrafting, can you guess my other kind of therapy?  If you’ve been to many of my classes you can probably guess.  Cooking is another of my therapies.  I don’t bake well (don’t like to measure) but I love to cook.  Not gourmet, just cook.
