Weddings and more.

As I sit here typing I start thinking about what I have to get done today.  Today is one of my dearest cousin’s wedding.  I don’t often have an excuse to get dressed up any more.  It seems that everyone has gone very casual or maybe it’s just where I live.  So today I willContinue reading “Weddings and more.”

And we are back to Friday again.

I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone.  Quite a bit has happened this week which is probably why time is flying.  Bought a vehicle, dog went to the vet, travel plans changed for OnStage, created over 20 cards, coach calls, and more.  Yes, this is just this week.  Actually it’s been only inContinue reading “And we are back to Friday again.”

Sundays are for porches.

Since I don’t seem to be getting very many days off I will not be writing about rest much.  Instead today I will be focused on a porch.  Imagine sitting in a swing on the porch watching the world go by as the breeze gently nudges you while you sip your tea.  All right, IContinue reading “Sundays are for porches.”

And sometimes it’s our own…

Since today is the day I focus to give back or pay it forward I want to share where my efforts will be going today.  One of our own, Kate, had surgery this week and I would like to lift her up.  I will be mailing at least one card to her shortly.  If youContinue reading “And sometimes it’s our own…”

Heavy metal without your ears hurting.

Today’s technique is brilliant, quite literally.  You take the negative space of the die to create a frame.  Instead of worrying about the stickiness that is left behind you place the cutouts to create an inlaid effect. The link for the video is https://youtu.be/ajVnCPs4xbU if you would like to see this card being created. Here aContinue reading “Heavy metal without your ears hurting.”

Happy Birthday Meets Reindeer!

Did you know that the scraps from your die of your Big Shot can become a new creation?  Take the Birthday Thinlits…the scrap from the top of the die becomes an antler for a reindeer.  Remember to look at things upside down and sideways. Enjoy and Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂
