Just a couple of cards that were created yesterday that I thought I would post here. The Christmas one was created with embossing paste that is dried with a heat gun until fluffy. The birthday card is using the Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on page 5 of the Holiday Catalog. It uses theContinue reading “Creating and having fun.”

Stamping with all things.
Some days you intend to stamp and other days every day items become what is used. Don’t be afraid to look outside of the catalog. Today’s tool is a wine glass, specifically the bottom of the glass. I am thinking this and a few other “techniques” will become an oops class. But for now startContinue reading “Stamping with all things.”
An oops is a creative opportunity.
Have you created a card and at the last second you tip over your water bottle and it is now a watercolor? Not all oops’es are mistakes. They are usually just creative opportunities. This card was created with a mistake in mind. Take a saucer and pour some wine in it. The bottom of theContinue reading “An oops is a creative opportunity.”

Sunday is for catching up.
For me, Sunday is for catching up. Catching up on rest, blogs, reading, projects, laundry, and some cleaning. Fridays are for friendship…
I am writing this a little late because I was finishing some custom orders and then had some friends drop in. That stamping thing distracts me every time. 🙂 So, how did you give back today? Was it a small gesture or did you do something huge like buy lunch? I have to say thatContinue reading “Fridays are for friendship…”
Black magic and rainbows…
It’s Thursday and I am happy to show you a new way to use your embossing paste. Let it dry like normal and then sponge color on top. You can use a sponge, dauber, or even the sponge brayer. Then cut your die in coordinating colors of cardstock. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂
Embossing buddy is not just for embossing.
So today we are going to explore how to use a product in a way it was not intended. I am sure that you know the embossing buddy is used to take static out of paper or cardstock. But, did you know, that the buddy can also be used to remove adhesive or sticky spots.Continue reading “Embossing buddy is not just for embossing.”
Punches are to elevate.
I hope everything is good with you and everyone is back to work or school. Holidays always seem to give a good break to the routine, but in many ways mess up things too. So, if you are feeling a little less than “ready to go” I can empathize with you. For today we willContinue reading “Punches are to elevate.”
