Window sheets for a box.

Window sheets are not just for shaker cards.  They can also be used for an entire pouch.  Instead of using cardstock try using a piece of window sheet.  Just make sure to have matching or complementary shreds to go inside.  They can be so cute with the right contents to match. So next time youContinue reading “Window sheets for a box.”

When Stampin’ Up! Meets Vegas!

I finally have an original thought.  I don’t believe I have actually seen this idea anywhere.  I used the Fruit Basket Stamp Set with coordinating mini punches to create a slot machine card.  I am so excited that it is an original. No more peeling.

Have you ever tried gluing little pieces on to a piece of cardstock and it peeled up?  Or the corners just keep curling?  Then take all those little pieces and glue them down, but don’t worry about the curling.  Instead take that piece and run it through an embossing folder.  The pressure will smooth bothContinue reading “No more peeling.”

Invisible punches.

Watercolor pencils and aqua painters, oh my.

I’ve had so much fun with the alcohol markers that I don’t know if we have forgotten about other ways to color.  There are blender pens to be used with the ink pads, re-inkers, or watercolor pencils.  There are the regular stampin’ write markers.  And finally, there are the watercolor pencils with the aqua painter. Continue reading “Watercolor pencils and aqua painters, oh my.”

Paper is not just for cards.

How far have you gone to create with paper?  Besides cards, boxes, favors, and the occasional punched out flower…what else have you created? Recently one of my fellow demonstrators was part of a paper fashion show.  She created an entire dress out of paper. Here’s the link to this fabulous event…https://www.facebook.com/ilike9news/videos/10155850923151077/?t=7 Happy Crafting! With inkyContinue reading “Paper is not just for cards.”
