Today is the day that we focus on giving back or paying it forward. If you are out shopping on this black Friday then maybe you tuck your elbows instead of using them. 😉 Maybe you sit down and mail all of those cards you’ve been meaning to send. Maybe you just can’t shake someoneContinue reading “Giving back…”

Turkeys, leaves, and feeling grateful.
Well, it’s Thanksgiving Day in the States. That means for a bunch of us that the turkey is in the oven or getting ready to be dunked in the huge vat of oil (in my house). Whatever you do be safe, have fun, and if all else fails go sit at the kids’ table. IContinue reading “Turkeys, leaves, and feeling grateful.”
When balloons are angels.
Sometimes the unexpected happens. As we sat and created last Saturday this angel appeared from the balloon punch. Lisa gave me permission to use her “miracle” as the example for Wednesday’s Wackiness. So remember to turn your punches, scraps, negative images, and positive ones backwards and upside down. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂
Negative space can be a positive.
Sometimes the negative speaks louder than the positive. This is true in stamping also. In this case I took the smaller leaf from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies and created a background. Don’t be scared of the negative. Sometimes if the negative is used correctly it becomes a huge positive. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers,Continue reading “Negative space can be a positive.”

So today’s agenda is to catch up a bit and get ready for the sale this week asContinue reading “Sundays are for rest…”

Laughter is a way to give back.
Do you know someone going through a rough patch? They might just need a laugh. Have you been grumpy? Find someone that can help you giggle. Yesterday at Card Class we evidentally all needed to laugh. We laughed so much that the store owner next door came to see what was the matter. We weren’tContinue reading “Laughter is a way to give back.”
Coloring on vellum.
The new Stampin’ Blends are awesome! They dry while coloring on vellum. Finally, something that dries without having to heat set. And there is enough color to block the adhesive. Take a look at the Facebook Live that has been uploaded to YouTube for a full tutorial. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂
Bell accents or ribbon holes?
I just watched the video from Stampin’ Up! for the Stockings Die. Did you know that the curved slit is intentioned to be an accent piece for the bell? It’s not a ribbon slit or hole. Well, now I have a new use for it. If you ever receive a product and don’t know whatContinue reading “Bell accents or ribbon holes?”
