Just Be Kind

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.

Recently my daughter went in for a job interview. The manager, instead of interviewing her, took the time to complain about many of his employees to her. Unfortunately one of these employees was a good friend of hers. So instead of walking out with a good experience (even if she didn’t get the job) she walked out telling us not to eat there again.

Why do I say this? Not to get anyone in trouble or to get sympathy. But instead to remind me (and whoever else needs to hear it) that being a good human does not take much. And if I am having an off day the reminder is there to just keep my mouth shut.

Here’s to giving back by not adding to the negativity around me.
