Rest days are for indulgences.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest and recharge so you are ready for the rest of the week.

For some of you this means getting your chores done and your house straightened so you can start the week without the clutter. For some this means taking a nap. For others this means simply slowing down or staying in your pajamas.

For me this means a bit of indulgence. Instead of rushing around I will probably not cook and in the afternoon maybe have a nice cup of hot chocolate with some of those miniature marshmallows. Unless it’s 80 degrees like yesterday and then it will be a glass of iced tea.

So what is your indulgence that represents you taking a break? What mentally puts you in that place so you know to slow down and enjoy life around you?
