Rest is sweet after a road trip.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! Today is the day to rest and recharge.

So yesterday I was on the road most of the day travelling back and forth to San Diego for a friend of my husband who was retiring. Yes, I had fun. I can usually figure out how to make it an adventure. The best part was the taco truck and being around fellow military again. Some of this life I miss but most of it I don’t.

So the plan for today is to not move. No cars. Instead I will be shortly baking a few potatoes and making my “famous” twice baked potatoes along with the rest of our late lunch. Maybe catch up on some laundry and mop a floor.
