Weaving for affect.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Today we are being scrappy. We are using our scraps to create a woven background. So take some of that paper that is left from the project that is already finished or maybe even some paper that you didn’t care for. Cut the strips as thin as you can get them (not more than 1/8″). Attach them to your card base with Snail Adhesive, but only on one side. This will allow you to weave the paper together.

I chose to not add a bow because then all the weaving would be hidden.

One last tip…if you don’t want your paper to look crooked make sure to cut them at different lengths. After weaving the size changes and some differences appear.

Happy Crafting!

With inky fingers,

Joni 🙂

P.S. The winners for the Small Business Saturday raffle will be announced right here at noon.
