It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to give back or pay it forward.
The school year has ended and I know that I have some teachers and parents reading this. I know that you are probably breathing a sigh of relief, at least for a minute, that the routine of homework and hurried dinners is no longer. And with this week being the final week I am sure some of you feel that you have earned every drop of this break.
I know exactly how you feel. It’s been a little crazy here as well. And sometimes I don’t have words and don’t want to deal with one more thing. This is when I look at my beloved, mostly black, standard poodle named Shadow. He stares back at me and he knows. He gets up and sits down at my feet with his head in my lap.
