Just two more days for you to wait to tell me what you want from the Mini Catalog or order online on September 5.
Do you have your wish list written out?
Remember to think in projects.
Remember that the catalog will be around until the end of December.
Remember that I am open and available for questions, orders, messages, etc. Monday through Saturday 10 am – 6 pm. You can come see me and ask in person every Saturday from 8-1 at the 29 Palms Farmers’ Market. Please remember that I am closed on Sundays.

Have you ever gone to the post office to find out that you have to pay extra because your card is simply too thick? Did you know that if it is over 1/4″ thick or has tons of bumps (gems) extra postage is required?
My first tip is to make sure the bumps or gems go towards the back of the envelope where the address is not. Second, sliding a scrap piece of paper or card stock in front of the bumps often helps too.
But wouldn’t it be nice if you had a device to measure the thickness of your cards to know if they needed extra postage? Well…for $5 you can have the first class mail letter gauge.
I have these available just for you. This is a guide and is not for official use with the post office. I still recommend that if there is a question to go to the post office or place extra postage on that envelope.
Recently I was creating (I know, how astonishing right?) and found a “new” way to stamp a sentiment. Instead of popping it up, stamping on the mat, or simply right on the card base why not stamp in? Punch a hole (Curved Label Punch from page 64 of the Mini Catalog used here) and stamp inside.
Brand new product alert!!! Emergency Kits are now available!
These Emergency Kits are good gifts for that certain someone that forgets special days, needs a few extra cards to send, or simply as a cute giveaway. Each kit contains three cards with coordinating envelopes packaged and sealed. The three cards are for anniversary, thinking of you, and happy birthday.
Each Kit is $20 and will be available on the 2nd of September at the Farmers’ Market.
When you craft do you try to save space to stretch your supplies just a bit farther?
I tend to punch out of the middles of the mats to get “extra” card stock.
The Multipurpose Glue gets cut in half so all of the glue can be pulled out of it. (Make sure you are doing a big project since there is no way to cap it afterwards.)
What tips do you have for stretching supplies? Reply in the comments.
I don’t know about you but I have trouble remembering which ink for what sometimes. The projects I do all the time I have no problem remembering what to do, but there are a few that I don’t pull out often enough. For me it’s which black ink for what. Do you have this same problem? Please reply in the comments so I can help if needed.
But, for now, here is a little chart to remember which black ink for which project.
