Stamp naked…

Do you think I have completely lost it?  I have not gone off the deep end.  And if I have, more than half of you are out here treading and floating with me. 🙂  Here’s what I am talking about when I say to stamp naked. For those of you that prefer the clear mountContinue reading “Stamp naked…”

Have you tried the new stamps?

Have you tried the new photorealistic stamps from Stampin’ Up!?  They are awesome!  We have the bear, the flower, and the bunny.  And they are amazing! This is a new technique in stamping and you will think the stamp is broken or defective.  It is relatively flat but it works.  Sweet Little Something is theContinue reading “Have you tried the new stamps?”

Party pandas that dance.

Today’s tutorial is more of the visual one today.  If you have questions please contact me.  Here are the three cards created last night on the Facebook Live. And here is the link for the video that is now uploaded to YouTube. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂

Any punch can be made a tag.

Did you know that you can create a tag out of just about any punch?  Well, you can.  I’ve taken a few photos to help with the process. Take a piece of thick white cardstock cut in half and scored in the middle to create your card base. Cut a piece of basic black cardstock at 4″ X 5 1/4″ to create theContinue reading “Dancing pandas.”

Bone folder does more than crease.

A bone folder can be used to flatten creases in cardstock but it can also be used to curl the edges to create gorgeous flowers. Just remember a tool can be used for many things, not just what it says on the instructions. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂

Sometimes crooked is the new straight.

For those of you that have attended any of my classes you will often hear me say “stamp first then punch”.  If you stamp it crooked you can still punch it crooked too making the end result straight.  Just a little technique for you that will come in handy for this Thursday’s card. Happy Crafting!Continue reading “Sometimes crooked is the new straight.”

It’s your inside that counts.

Following Tuesday’s theme of finding out what is down at the core of your cardstock is a finished card that looks awesome (in my opinion)!  I bleached early espresso cardstock and found that there was an undertone of yellow.  The burlap ribbon is pulled a bit to give a rough look.  The boots were stampedContinue reading “It’s your inside that counts.”
