Working in the garden.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on resting and re-charging. We talk a bunch about self care on this day, but have you ever thought that getting dirty might be what you need? Grab a few plants from the local nursery and get some dirt under those nails.

Recently I have read a few articles that talk about feeling disconnected or out of sync. One of the common suggestions is to either walk barefoot to ground yourself or to dig in a garden to connect with the earth.

So maybe what you need is to plant some roses and then take some time to smell them later.
