It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward. I don’t know about you but today I feel lucky. Lucky to be upright and ready to go. Lucky to be able to do what I do creatively. And lucky that you are in my life.
Recently I returned from OnStage and I feel lucky to be part of a company that cares. Yes, cares. I paid for my ticket, got on a plane, and checked in to my hotel. I attended the first session, then the next, and finally the last one. The friendships I have made are invaluable. But one other thing stands out. My company cares.
I had multiple employees stop and ask me how I was, how the business was, etc. The CEO stopped to take pictures. My coach brought me chocolate as a pick me up for that day that I was struggling with some weariness. And, last but not least, the giveaways. I came home with multiple bags, storage organization, stamps, paper, and more. I feel extremely lucky that a company would take the time to put back in to me so I can be successful.
