Today’s tutorial is on how to create this inlaid card.
So let’s get to it. 🙂
- Start with a card base cut tall instead of our regular. Instead of cutting at 5 1/2 inches cut instead at 4 1/4″. Then score at 5 1/2 ” and not 4 1/4″. Thick white is used here.
- Then cut a mat at 5 x 3 3/4″ out of whisper white. To cut the dragonfly use the dragonfly framelit (outline). After cutting the outline then place the cutout with the detailed die over it. Run through the Big Shot.
- After cutting the dragonfly from the white mat, then take your words of choice and apply to the stamparatus. Grapefruit Grove and Basic Black are used here.
- To assemble, glue (snail adhesive) the designer series paper 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ to the white mat. Then glue to the card base. Now glue the detailed piece to inlay.
- Enjoy your card!
