Dragons and mirrors.
I just figured out an easy way to create a mirror image. You will need a stamp, ink pad, cardstock, and your silicone mat. Next ink your stamp and then apply to your silicone mat. Take your cardstock and set over image. Make sure not to bump or move as this will result in aContinue reading “Dragons and mirrors.”
Boxes, favors, and sweets.
Today’s tutorial is brought to you by the Lots to Love Box Framelits. So let’s jump in! Pick your cardstock that you want to cut. When using the die make sure the pattern you want facing out is facing up when being cut. This will allow the score marks to be on the correct side. Continue reading “Boxes, favors, and sweets.”

Take a piece of thick white cardstock cut in half and scored in the middle to create your card base. Punches can be a puzzle.
Our punches can also be used as a puzzle. The Everyday Label Punch fits much like a puzzle does. So when you can’t think of what to do for a background use a punch. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂
How to emboss on foil cardstock.
Dry embossing on foil cardstock can be a little tricky unless you like the cracked, distressed look. I found to take at least one of the cutting plates out of the stack or sandwich and shim it with a few pieces of cardstock works the best. Basically when you start to push the stack throughContinue reading “How to emboss on foil cardstock.”
Orchids, accents, and blender pens.
We recently created an orchid card to coordinate with the paper potted orchids. This card was a combination of quite a few techniques. So I guess we should get started with a photo and then some directions. First, figure out your words. Depending on how large the sentiment is will depend on which way theContinue reading “Orchids, accents, and blender pens.”
Turkeys, leaves, and feeling grateful.
Well, it’s Thanksgiving Day in the States. That means for a bunch of us that the turkey is in the oven or getting ready to be dunked in the huge vat of oil (in my house). Whatever you do be safe, have fun, and if all else fails go sit at the kids’ table. IContinue reading “Turkeys, leaves, and feeling grateful.”
Coloring on vellum.
The new Stampin’ Blends are awesome! They dry while coloring on vellum. Finally, something that dries without having to heat set. And there is enough color to block the adhesive. Take a look at the Facebook Live that has been uploaded to YouTube for a full tutorial. Happy Crafting! With inky fingers, Joni 🙂
