It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
You already know that the Stampin’ Blends can color card stock beautifully. But, did you know, that these alcohol markers can also color embellishments? In the past we have colored the Basic Pearls. But, you can also color on metal. Take a look at the new ladybugs.
What other embellishments does this bring to mine? I was thinking of the adhesive-backed snowflake sequins.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest and recharge so you can hit the ground running for the week.
Have you ever been to a beach before and after a hurricane or storm? Did you notice the difference? How much of the shoreline had disappeared? Now take this picture and create a metaphor for yourself.
The storm can be something you are going through. The winds and rain will wash some of your sand away leaving you exposed to the tides of life. In order to not have the tides effect you in the same way you have to rebuild. Hire a dump truck and get that shoreline rebuilt. Sometimes this means taking a mental wellness day, sitting quietly to read a book, or simply doing a bit of retail therapy. Whatever you decide, rebuild. You are worth it.
Take your moments to process and get past whatever storm has come.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
Every single person is given the same 24 hours. It’s up to you on what you do within that time. Some days you have to focus on yourself so your cup can be full enough to pour out to someone in need. And sometimes you are ready to go and able to help. This is when you just help.
I know for me I usually jump in to help. But, when it comes to my needs, I am not always quick to ask for assistance. Those that are closest to me know when I am struggling and just know to ask. I usually say no, but once in a while I simply say…please.
It’s usually not a big thing that I need help with. But the little thing gives such a boost that I am able to keep going for so much longer after that. And then, occasionally, there are the big things. Surgeries happen. Tires shred. Just life. It’s amazing to me who steps up when you really need it.
I know people can disappoint and cause quite a bit of drama. But, in the end, great relationships are why we stay. Why we still dance. Why we have hope.
Who’s that someone that comes to mind that rescues you? I have a few, thank heavens. As you are thinking of this person or people I would encourage you to reach out and say thank you. Call, mail a card, send a text. Remind them that they are appreciated.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today we are talking about the Celebration Labels Dies.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Today we are talking about seeds turning into lights.
So, if you’ve been around me for a few minutes, then you will know that I say to look at everything upside down, backwards, and sideways. A leaf may become a mustache or a tree becomes a beard. Well, today, pumpkin or apple seeds are becoming Christmas lights.
Grab a piece of Whisper White Card Stock and stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink your seeds. Then take a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and create your string of lights by drawing a line between the seeds. Next are the Stampin’ Blends to color the lights. Now you have a string of lights instead of just some seeds.
Maybe that bag of beans can grow a beanstalk after all.
