It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

Today I am going a bit off track as I am not talking about a product but instead ideas for gift giving. It is a bit out of the ordinary though so hopefully it counts for this Wacky Wednesday post.

Usually when I think of gift giving I try to figure out what someone can use or what they like. Well, since we have just gone through a crazy year and a bit I thought you might want to change up your gift giving as well. Instead of stuff how about a dinner out together? A class together? If they are trying to eat healthy, maybe a fruit of the month club? Or what about a book for each of you that you will read together? If these aren’t enough ideas to get your brain going then how about the list below?

It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to show you what a difference it makes to simply flip a few key pieces or accents around.

With these cards I use the new Heart & Home Designer Series Paper to create three different cards with the exact same layout. I have also used the new Hive 3D Embossing Folder while bringing in the current Elegant Punch. And the gems are Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on resting so you can be recharged for the week.

It seems like no matter what someone needs you, there’s another load of wash to throw in the machine, or dinner to be cooked. Well, when you feel run down remember to take some time for yourself to recharge. Take some time before it is no longer a choice.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.

The Pay It Forward Event happens tomorrow! Drop in any time from 10-2 and create a card to donate to Operation Gratitude. You will need to bring your own adhesive and scissors. Everything else is provided including snacks.

You can also bring $5 to help cover the cost of postage, card bases, and envelopes.

If you cannot make it on Saturday and still want to donate please have your cards here at the Studio by Wednesday, December 15.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Instead of a tutorial I am doing a Thankful Thursday! Since it’s Thanksgiving I thought I would take a minute and just simply be thankful. Thank you for being a part of this crafty family. Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

For today we are back in the kitchen. Not because it is almost Thanksgiving, but because we need our steel wool. If your scissors are dull and you don’t have a sharpener then use steel wool. Cut in to it to sharpen those blades. It doesn’t work quite as well as a sharpener, but it is better than nothing.

For your information I do have a scissor sharpener that you can use on any Monday during Open Day Sessions. These sessions are on any Monday from 10:30-12:30 or 5:30-7:30 except major holidays. For a list of major holidays please refer to https://stampingwithjoni.wordpress.com/holidays-observed/.

Just a reminder that I will be closed today at noon through Thursday. I will be back on Friday for normal business hours of 9:30-7:30.
