How to unstick a mistake.

Pour the heat on.  You heard me.  You need some heat to get out of the mess you’re in.  Take your heat gun and from the back unstick your crooked mat, accent, whatever.  It works.  Heat for about 20 seconds and then gently pull your piece off.  If it doesn’t come off easily with a few gooey strings then you need more heat.  Add about 10 seconds per try and then peel again.  You will be left with a few sticky spots but no tears.
