It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.
Do you have a skincare routine? Do you periodically exfoliate your skin? What is the purpose of exfoliating? From what I understand the purpose is to take off the dead layers of skin so that your skin glows and doesn’t have a dull look to it. And now you’re probably wondering how this relates to a schedule.
Sometimes you have to exfoliate your schedule. When looking at how to scrub your schedule to reflect your priorities I went to the expert, Stephen Covey. In the article talking about the difference between prioritizing your schedule and scheduling your priorities here are some points that spoke to me.
Ask yourself how important the task is. Is it urgent or important or both or neither?
Should the task be delegated?
Does the task even need to be on the list at all?
When looking at a task and how much you get done in a day to accomplish your goals, you have to look at whether you are being efficient or effective with your time. “Efficiency is doing things right; Effectiveness is doing the right things.” (Peter Drucker) Where is your focus…being effective or efficient?
As I have gone full time with Stampin’ Up! and added more events I have been forced to look at this. My daily to-do list has definitely shifted in the last five years. Has yours as your life changes?
Well, I think I have rambled on long enough so I will leave you with a quote that has changed how I think about what is on the dreaded calendar.
If you are in need of adhesive, kits, stocking stuffers, cards, and more you can find me in Landers today from 10-2.

It’s Friendship Friday! Today is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
Sometimes you wonder if a company truly gives back. Well, today I don’t have to wonder. Today is OnStage! This is what used to be known as Convention. So this will be short as I have sessions to attend and prizes to win. Thank you for being part of my crafty family! Now I am going to go learn something to share with you later!
It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today I want to show you how to create a wreath from a garden…Eden’s Garden Bundle to be exact.
First, you will need a card base, outer mat, and inner mat. The inner mat is from our new Designer Series Paper that will be out in January called Heart & Home. Then you will need card stock to cut the frame out. The die comes from the Eden Dies. After cutting out the frame with the die then you will need to grab your Snips and cut the rectangle into pieces to create boughs. These boughs will create your circle for the wreath. Tip: If you want a fuller looking wreath cut out two of these frames so you have a second layer of boughs to put down. Stamp your sentiment on scratch card stock and punch or trim out. Add a ribbon and maybe some gems and your card is done.
For a richer background I colored it with Soft Suede Ink and a Blending Brush.
For full instructions and to see the new Designer Series Paper please go to https://youtu.be/ksaLGbWTUQM. When you comment by Tuesday the 16th you will get the written instructions emailed to you.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Today I want to show you a square frame of leaves from the Eden’s Dies becomes a circular wreath. I simply cut out a square frame and then take my Snips to create pieces or boughs that become a wreath.
To see the entire card and it created please join me tonight on my Facebook page at 7 pm.
It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to show you how to use a die for coffee. Yes, coffee.
You’ve been to those fancy places where they dust the top of your cappuccino with cocoa powder that is a heart. Well, now you can do it too.
Take a window sheet and your favorite die and use the negative to create a stencil. Remember to leave a tab on the window sheet to hold on to. If you need the tab stiffer then hot glue a popsicle stick to it.
And before you know it your coffee will be upgraded to cafe status.
It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest to get recharged for the week.
I have been reading how staying in your routine too long and it being the same will get you in a rut. Instead you are supposed to disrupt yourself by breaking up your routine. This article explains to do these things for 30 days to give yourself a fresh start if you feel like you are in a rut.
If you would like to order online please use the link https://www.stampinup.com?hostcode=2F94XGU4. This link will help me to get your Christmas goodies for the party on December 18. The link will be good through Monday, November 15.
