It’s Technique Tuesday! Do you have someone that means a lot to you but you don’t know what to get them? Here’s an idea.
Take a tin, box, bag, or jar (some kind of container) and get our little 3X3 notecards. On the notecards write notes of what they mean to you for a week, month, or certain period of time. (Just try not to repeat.) This will help you to use up those little notecards and will make your special one feel loved and appreciated.
There are exactly 5 days before the new Paper Pumpkin Kit is no longer available for sign up!
This kit will feature 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs) along with 9 coordinating envelopes.
The coordinating colors are Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Night of Navy, and Soft Succulent.
And don’t forget the mini shopping bag that fits the cards perfectly. You will also be able to add mini shopping bags as well. Each add-on order will include 4 mini canvas bags. These bags can be stamped too.
It’s Management Monday! Here’s what’s happening this week and maybe a bit beyond.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on resting so you can be recharged for the week.
I know for many of my teacher friends, parents, and kids this is an exhausting time of year. The school year is almost over but still needs to be finished. Grades still need to be turned in and classes still need to be attended.
This list of ways to recharge your mind were helpful and hopefully they will be to you as well.
There is a BOGO Sale going on right now for the kits! For every kit you order you will get the second one at 50% off.
If you would like to order online please use the link https://www.stampinup.com?hostcode=QRPERPJ4. This is the link to qualify for the Club order. This link expires Wednesday, June 15.
The Last Chance List is out and there are many discounts on it! You can begin to order from this starting Wednesday, June 1. If you need a copy of the list please check out https://mailchi.mp/dc56fea47349/last-chance-list.
It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
I recently came across this quote “the greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but reveal to them their own” (Disraeli). Disraeli was largely a statesmen or politician and was an author on the side. Regardless of his profession this quote spoke to me.
The best thing I can do for a friend is to encourage them. My encouragement will only last a moment if they don’t believe in themselves. So instead of bringing over something to make them feel better the wiser thing would be to spend time with them. It would be to talk to them to make them realize that they are more than capable of picking up their pieces and succeeding on their own. Now I am not saying a piece of chocolate cannot help the encouragement, but it will not be long-lasting.
It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today I want to show you how to create this pop up graduation card complete with tassel and envelope. For the card you will need:
Basic Black Card Stock cut with the Paper Trimmer to 11″X5 ½” and on the 11″ side scored at 5 ½ and 8 ¼. For the rest of the cuts and scoring please follow the diagram below.
You will need two pieces of Basic Black Card Stock cut with the Paper Trimmer to 4″X4″.
Keep the scraps of black card stock so you can cut two 1″ circles.
You will need to know your school colors at this point. For 29 Palms High School Wildcats the color is white, black, and an almost emerald green. I chose Shaded Spruce. Cut two squares at 5 1/4″ with the Trimmer. For further cuts please follow the diagram. You will also need a strip at 5 1/4″ X 1 1/4″.
Take a piece of Basic White Card Stock and cut two pieces to 5″ squares. Follow the diagram. You will also need one strip at 5″ X 1″.
For the words I used Peaceful Moments.
You will also need Black Twine, a brad, Take Your Pick Tool, and Shaded Spruce Ink.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Today, for some reason, I cannot come up with a Wacky Wednesday. So, I will ask you, what’s your favorite Wacky Wednesday I have done?
