It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on rest so you can be recharged for the week.
This week I have had quite a few emails asking me to upgrade my phone. I haven’t yet but will soon.
I think one of the emails that caught my eye was how effective a new battery is. As a battery ages it becomes less effective. Eventually it won’t work and needs to be replaced.
I am not talking about age here, trust me. What I am saying is that if something is draining you then you might need to approach it differently or simply change what you are doing. Starting fresh is sometimes simply the only answer to feel whole again.
What is draining you that needs to be thought about?
I’ve heard rumors that there might be a second release for Sale-A-Bration on August 2. Be watching right here for more details.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
Recently I was reading through a newsletter and came across this quote from Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis…”One man can make a difference and every man should try”.
I had to read that a few times to understand that it’s not about what gets done but that effort is made. Are you making effort to make a difference?
I have a question for you. For the Facebook Live on Wednesday or the YouTube on Thursday would you like the materials mailed to you so you can create too?
I would do the Wednesday evening presentation on Facebook and then post it on Thursday on YouTube. You would have until Saturday at midnight to tell me that you would like the materials mailed to you. I would invoice you $5 (maybe $10 if it was a big week) and then mail everything on Monday.
You would not be creating with me but after me. Everything would be die cut, scored, and ready for you just like in the classes. You would need to stamp, have ink, and adhesive. You would get to see the project before so you knew exactly what you were getting.
Would be interested? Please let me know either way.
Thank you for being here through the thick and thin. Thank you for coming to create with me. Thank you for ordering. Thank you for showing up to craft fairs and markets. And thank you for being you and having a good time with me.
Without you I couldn’t say that today is the day 16 years ago that I signed up with Stampin’ Up! 16 years! So thank you.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Today I want to show you how a Bone Folder can do more than help with the creases or score lines.
The Bone Folder can also take out marks by rubbing. Some dies tend to leave a mark or ridge and I have found that the Bone Folder will take these out by rubbing the affected area.
But more importantly, the Bone Folder can also get the kinks out of twine or ribbon by simply pulling it across the side of it.
This action is very similar to when you pull curling ribbon across a pair of scissors.
It’s Technique Tuesday! Today’s technique is more about assembly.
When you get a new set of stamps that are the cling or red rubber ones you need to put the stickers on to the rubber. Before you do please check the stickers and the stamps. Sometimes mistakes are made and they are not printed correctly. If this happens please contact me ASAP so I can get it fixed.
For some of the larger stamps especially I have trouble lining up the sticker to the stamp. So instead of placing the stamp directly on to the sticker try taking the sticker and placing it on a block.
Then take the block with the sticker and stamp the stamp on to the sticker.
When you would like to order please consider qualifying for the Club order. For this Club from July 16 – August 1 at noon order $50 or more in product with host code QKAUMCGY or using the link https://www.stampinup.com?hostcode=QKAUMCGY to qualify. (You can also place your order directly with me but it will not be submitted until August 1 in the afternoon.) There is no commitment unlike past Clubs. There is simply a bonus.
