It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on resting so you can be recharged for the week.
Have you noticed with your cell phone that once it gets low it seems to die faster? And once your phone dies it seems to take forever to recharge? Have you noticed that with yourself as well?
I know, for me, that if I am tired exhausted is close to follow. So what’s the trick? For me it has been to not allow myself to get to that point. To catch myself and do some self-care before I absolutely need it.
How do you do self-care? Is it a nice, long bath? A good book to read? Being around people? Being alone? Comment with your favorite.

Did you know that a nail file or emery board can be used for more than your finger nails? It can also be used to smooth out ragged edges on your paper or card stock.

This week I have had quite a few emails asking me to upgrade my phone. I haven’t yet but will soon.
I think one of the emails that caught my eye was how effective a new battery is. As a battery ages it becomes less effective. Eventually it won’t work and needs to be replaced.
I am not talking about age here, trust me. What I am saying is that if something is draining you then you might need to approach it differently or simply change what you are doing. Starting fresh is sometimes simply the only answer to feel whole again.
