Thank you for being here through the thick and thin. Thank you for coming to create with me. Thank you for ordering. Thank you for showing up to craft fairs and markets. And thank you for being you and having a good time with me.
Without you I couldn’t say that today is the day 16 years ago that I signed up with Stampin’ Up! 16 years! So thank you.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Today I want to show you how a Bone Folder can do more than help with the creases or score lines.
The Bone Folder can also take out marks by rubbing. Some dies tend to leave a mark or ridge and I have found that the Bone Folder will take these out by rubbing the affected area.
But more importantly, the Bone Folder can also get the kinks out of twine or ribbon by simply pulling it across the side of it.
This action is very similar to when you pull curling ribbon across a pair of scissors.
It’s Technique Tuesday! Today’s technique is more about assembly.
When you get a new set of stamps that are the cling or red rubber ones you need to put the stickers on to the rubber. Before you do please check the stickers and the stamps. Sometimes mistakes are made and they are not printed correctly. If this happens please contact me ASAP so I can get it fixed.
For some of the larger stamps especially I have trouble lining up the sticker to the stamp. So instead of placing the stamp directly on to the sticker try taking the sticker and placing it on a block.
Then take the block with the sticker and stamp the stamp on to the sticker.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
There are so many ways to give back. But recently I found out that our local Elks Lodge in Yucca Valley does just that. They have a craft fair they hold in October every year. Well, this year is no different. But I have learned something. Not only do they host the craft fair and vendors can sell there for a fee. But non-profits are able to set up there at no charge. It’s a way for the Elks to give back to the community. This allows those in attendance to learn about the community without extra cost.
So on October 1 go see what’s happening in the community at the Elks Lodge in Yucca Valley.
And no, I won’t be vending there. I will be at the Farmers’ Market, but a member of my team will be there. Go support and see what all is happening.
It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today I want to show you how to emboss resist and faux watercolor. And in there I will throw a bonus in on how to color with an entire clear block.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Today I want to show you a partial coloring technique. The product is used in the normal way but not the stamps. When you stamp you have to think that the stamped image is continuing after the mat. Then you color only a portion of the picture.
This gives an incomplete picture of what is supposed to be there. Do you like this technique?
It’s Technique Tuesday! Do you know you can make your own mask or stencil?
Take a piece of Window Sheet and die cut it. You might need to run it through a few times as Window Sheet is a bit tough to cut through. You now have a mask or stencil.
