It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest and recharge so the rest of the week goes more smoothly.

Have you ever gone to a massage, especially a deep tissue one? The kind of rub down that almost has you feeling sore after it? Sometimes you have to rest by breaking down all the kinks in your life and getting rid of them. Stop and look at what causes drama and stress and see what can be done about it.

Oh, and remember, drink plenty of water to wash away those toxins afterwards.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.

We have talked about so many things on these Friday posts, but today I want to just keep it simple. Just smile. Even if it is behind a mask you can tell if someone is smiling. A smile and bright eyes tend to lighten your own mood as well as those around you.

It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today I want to talk to you about making creating easy. Sometimes you just need something without a ton of thinking. You might have someone new crafting with you or the grandkids are here for the summer and need something to do. Then kits just might be the answer.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

Do you have a salad spinner sitting around your house? Is it being used? Now I am not going to tell you that you should eat more salads. Instead I am going to say to pull it in your craft room. Place your card front in the bottom of the spinner. Drop some ink on the card stock, close it up, and spin away. Make sure to wait until it stops spinning before opening that lid. And you might just want to wait until the card stock dries.

Once it is dry you have a splatter background ready to go for your card.

It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to show you how to create a splatter background.

Simply grab a Stampin’ Blend or a Stampin’ Write Marker and tap the bottom third of the barrel against the side of your finger. The ink will come out in a splatter and you will get a unique background every time.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on resting and recharging for a great start to your week.

I have noticed since things are opening back up that I am resting better. Since I am able to work life is slowly getting back to “normal”. Not a new normal, but normal.

Have you found that you rest better when you feel secure? Do you not feel attacked or on guard?

So as you sit and enjoy this Sunday please take a minute to evaluate why you are feeling anxious or guarded. Or if you are not simply enjoy the day. Life is better when you are not having to look over your shoulder.
