It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on resting so you can be recharged for the week.
I don’t know about you but I am a person that likes my routine. I like my familiar sounds and smells. And I like knowing what is going to happen, generally.
When any of this is out of whack I tend to lean on exercise, stress-eating (funny since exercise is here too), or some music to change my mood. I have to say that I can go from easy listening to heavy metal depending on what’s happening.
And when I am trying to sleep and am having trouble I tend to focus on white noise. This could be anything from the whirring of the ceiling fan to listening to the sound of the ocean waves on a white noise app. It’s amazing to me how much of an effect our outer environment has on our inner peace.
